Please enjoy our latest item, a photo report from March 18th, 2012:

Just outside the Esplanade, you can enter to win in the CR-V "Wish List" Sweepstakes

Advertising Park Hopper tickets instead of Annual Passes. Not surprising considering how many Annual Passholders there are now

Buena Vista Street construction has really come along quickly!

The details are starting to show up, like this cat weathervane

The roof tiling still needs to be applied to this building

Not long now!

Minnie Mouse leaving the park in her new flight attendant costume

Some new sporty style Disneyland merchandise

Doesn't the Carthay Circle Theater look just absolutely lovely!

It already looks nice, and it's not even completely done yet!

The other side of Buena Vista Street is just as far along

Waiting on the signs to be installed

Close-up of the iron work

The Candy Shoppe part of the old Greetings from California store has been left in tact and will look lovely next to the new facades of Elias & Company

The sign for Elias & Company is up on the building

Now over to the other big construction project: Cars Land

The Cozy Cone Motel sign

Tires on the roof of the queue for Mater's Junkyard Jamboree

Welcome to Radiator Springs sign

Right across from the Cars Land construction site, you can get a preview of the new land at the Blue Sky Cellar

A scale model of all of Cars Land

Each Luigi's Flying Tires vehicle will be able to hold two guests

From left to right: a model of half of the vehicle for Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, the jukebox that will play tunes in the same attraction, and a model of the Radiator Springs Racers ride vehicle

Various signs and posters that will be found throughout the land

Various concept art lines the walls

A model of the Walt and Mickey Storytellers statue that will be found outside the Carthay Circle Theater

One board dedicated to Buena Vista Street

There's even a little mention of the new bobsleds coming to the Matterhorn this summer

Mulan and Mushu out for pictures and autographs in Pacific Wharf

Can't wait for the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop!

The portal into Cars Land from Pacific Wharf

The beautiful Paradise Bay

Beef Kabob dinner at Paradise Garden Grill

Sligo Rags were the day's performing artist at Paradise Gardens

Get ready for easter with a bunny Duffy!

While Saint Patrick's Day has passed, you can always prepare for next year with an Irish Duffy

The new color scheme found all over Grizzly River Run is really quite nice. More new than the old run-down theme

The Rushin' River Outfitters building also has a new, brighter color scheme

Over at Disneyland, the old Blue Ribbon Bakery building has a new red color scheme. Oddly though, the Blue Ribbon Bakery sign is still up, even though that restaurant is now extinct

It's almost impossible to get a bad photo of Sleeping Beauty Castle :-)

New, small Minnie Mouse handbags

Farewell Disneyland

You can really see the new Buena Vista Street buildings peeking over the Pan Pacific turnstiles. It already looks complete!

Thanks for viewing this photo report!

Fantastic photos, Myrna! I'm dying to go to California Adventure & I really want a "I'm with Tweedle Dee" tee shirt! :)
