Photo Report: June 21st, 2012 - Radiator Springs Racers Queue, Buena Vista Street Entertainment, Cars Land at Night...
- 7-12-2012

Please enjoy our latest item, a photo report from June 21st, 2012:

We'll start off the photo report at the base of the Ornament Valley in Cars Land

Time for a ride on Radiator Springs Racers (with a wait time I'm not sure I can even believe...)

The scenery alone is enough to keep you entertained

The rustic details on the queue structures are impressive as well

Stanley's Oasis is really cool. Water features are always awesome

That's the Radiator Springs way!

When traveling through Ornament Valley, always go for Butte Gas

If you get a chance during your day at Disney California Adventure, head over to the Blue Sky Cellar to see Time Travel Mater and learn the history of Stanley and these buildings

Everything is old but new

The loading area for Radiator Springs Racers

The impressive first part of the ride, as we come across the glorious waterfall

"Woah there, you're not racing yet!"

Gas pumps in the town of Radiator Springs in the ride

Plenty of tires to see if your car takes you on the route through Luigi's

Guido fixing you up with some new tires

Doc Hudson is your crew chief for the race

GO!

Upon exiting the attraction, you can buy a souvenir photo of your ride

Even the exit of this ride is awesome!

So many signs and details, you can't possibly see them all in one trip!

As you exit, you get to walk right past riders on the race track

Luigi's

Ramone's

Radiator Springs Curios is definitely a cool place for vintage sign lovers

Three options: Tulsa Tea, Butte Gas, or Dinoco Gasoline

These are actually shelves you can buy!

Flo's V8 Cafe is definitely one of the coolest restaurants in the park

Now let's head over to Buena Vista Street to experience some of the entertainment this new land has to offer

The atmosphere characters add life and reality to Buena Vista Street

I really enjoy the Red Car News Boys show. It's very energetic, and has some fun songs!

Mickey Mouse joins in on the fun, armed with a suitcase and a dream!

The other show in Buena Vista Street is Five & Dime, featuring five musicians and a singer named Dime belting out the hits of the 1920s and 30s

Goofy even joins in for some toe-tapping action!

Another great new show at DCA is Minnie's Fly Girls Charter Airline over in Condor Flats

As you can see, the look of these performers is very much inspired by Pan Am (the TV show and the airline)

Visit faraway places

Exotic

Romantic

And all the booze you could want! :P

Travel a little closer to home

Or perhaps go on a safari

Minnie Mouse is an avid aviator herself

Now let's head back over to Cars Land as the sun begins to set

The sign on the side of Flo's

Let's take a look at the beautiful neon up and down Radiator Springs

Lightning McQueen is coming to town!

He parks by the Cozy Cone Motel for meet 'n greets

My only issue with Cars Land is that there are a few certain points where the Tower of Terror is pretty visually intrusive, like at the Cozy Cone

Maybe more impressive than all that neon though, is just how stunning the mountains of Cars Land look at night!

What a waterfall!
