September 19th, 2016 Photo Report
by Luke Manning

Well it's been a while since our last photo report from the Disneyland Resort, but let's take a look at what's new as of September 19th, 2016!

Work to transform The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror into Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! has already begun, with the removal of The Hollywood Tower Hotel sign and the dome at the top of the building

Halloween Time is now in full swing at Disneyland!

The Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln sign has been removed while the attraction is closed for refurbishment

Mickey Mouse sporting both his fantastic Halloween costume and his new Shanghai look

It's a very subtle change to Mickey's face, but once you notice it, it sticks

Let's look at some of the wonderful pumpkins featured up and down Main Street

Of course, the centerpiece of Halloween Time on Main Street is the giant Mickey pumpkin!

A little bit of Diamond Celebration blue lingers on the tarps covering the Market House

Some walls up for repaving near the Hub

Most of the Diamond Celebration decorations have been removed from Sleeping Beauty Castle, with the exception of the turrets. They'll be removed when work begins on Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle

This wonderful retro Tomorrowland sign has been installed as Season of the Force has now come to a close

New Tomorrowland banners lining the abandoned PeopleMover track

As of Monday, the Star Wars music loop was still playing throughout Tomorrowland

The Tomorrowland Terrace stage still features that name...

While the restaurant still features its Galactic Grill overlay

The classic Tomorrowland attraction posters have returned inside Redd Rockett's Pizza Port

A wonderful new Halloween cup design this year!

Star Wars: Path of the Jedi is still playing at the Tomorrowland Theater

The show was updated a couple of months after the release of The Force Awakens to feature some clips from that new movie. This results in a wonderful finale to this clip show!

Hyperspace Mountain is out, and Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy is back in!

The FastPass's once again feature the Space Mountain logo

Take a walk through the queue of Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, and see some of the ghostly happenings in the load area!

The Tomorrowland Railroad Station is for the moment nothing more than a smoking section

A panorama of the recently remodeled Autopia

The new color scheme on display is a huge improvement from the previous circa-2000 Chevron colors

Take a tour of the recently renovated Autopia, now sponsored by Honda. Featuring a ride through of the attraction, as well as clips from the "Magic Highway USA" episode of the Disneyland TV show that are featured in the queue

Some work being done on the Mickey's Toontown sign. But that doesn't mean we can still celebrate Halloween!

Some more Halloween colors in the heart of Toontown

Ray Bradbury's Halloween Tree is back in Frontierland

Haunted Mansion Holiday is back for its 15th year!

Visible for the first time in a long time are the wonderful tombstones paying tribute to various different Imagineers

These have been promimently displayed at Walt Disney World's Haunted Mansion for years, but only now have a big prescence at Disneyland

In this video, check out the 2016 Gingerbread House in the Ballroom scene, as well as the new Sally animatronic in the Graveyard

The Sailing Ship Columbia is getting some work done, rumored to related to a new Pirates of the Caribbean scene for Fantasmic!
